One of my favorite salons in brooklyn. Carmen is my favorite for a blow out, because she doesn’t burn my delicate scalp while using the blow dryer and is still able to straighten my roots.
I love how my hair stylist took her time in doing my braids. It was very neat & all of the shapes had the same measurement. Event thought it was a long wait time period in the salon. It was very pack. I mean I see that as a good sign that they really love their work and they do it with passion that everyone wants to come to them. Overall I love the experience. Feel free to come in and get you hair fav ????????????

The price have increased a whole lot..i paid $65 For a wash roller set black rinse..
I went in for a color correction and left with more problems!! She applied bleach to my roots after I said not to, my hair was on fire. She assured me that everything was one color but my roots were visibly extremely lighter than my ends.
Once I brought it to her attention she asked if I wanted to add more dye. Keep in mind that I was now sitting in the chair after she just took out my roller and I have already been there for 5 hours. I absolutely
Would not want to dye and wash and sit under the dryer again! It was honestly the worst experience. I do not recommend !

Went here for years before the pandemic. Making my way back this week because they Always nice and welcoming even though my Spanish is horrible. I hope nothing has changed as reviews seem to imply.
You just go to who they tell you and sit in that persons chair. They know how to do Afro-LatinX, African-American and Caucasian hair types. From natural, thick, curly to straight…and they color very well. One of my secret fave Dominican spots in Manhattan. But if it’s it clean and there’s a problem when I go back, I will definitely update this review. Times are too crucial to be unclean and unpleasant!
They over charge for bad services. The employees they have there now don’t wash your hair good and there is another who is so rough when dealing with clients hair. I feel they should take they time to deal with clients hair and do as we say we want our hair to be done without having an attitude. If I tell you how I want I just wanna be satisfied and get my money worth. I keep trying to give them chances cause they close to where I live but the services don’t change it’s still horrible. The past employees and owner who worked there were so much better I miss them. Now it’s a bunch of new people who don’t know what they doing. One lady put color on my mom hair and she didn’t take time to section my mom hair to apply the color. She just put it. She almost didn’t even mix it in the bowl I had to tell her to do it. It’s ridiculous. I wonder if they pick and choose who to treat this way but me and mom are never coming here again.
