I do have to start with a little background:
My son is 4 years old and has been absolutely terrified of hair cuts his entire life. Whether with clippers or scissors, he was not having it! It was such a traumatizing experience for him that I had to cut his hair at home on my own because he wouldn't even go into a barber shop.
(Which ended up in some pretty memorable looks for picture day at school! ????????)
He does not like the sounds of clippers or scissors or the air hoses that some shops use that it would scare him to the point of complete breakdown. ????
This past weekend I had the pleasure to meet Cara Barbara & her lovely Wife & she offered to try to cut his hair for me. So Monday, I decided we would give it a try... Scheduling the appointment was super easy through their app!
I must say, walking into the shop was such a vibe in itself and my son was immediately immersed in the games and playing while Cara did my hair...
I believe giving him that time to acclimate to the idea of getting his hair cut too PLUS the fact that they've clearly worked so hard to make the environment so welcoming & fun at their shop made all the difference!
Cara did an incredible job on my hair and everyone made us feel so welcome!
When it came time for my son's hair to be cut he sat up in the seat so well for Cara! She engaged with him and played with him! (and there may OR may not have been a bit of bribery over a lollipop lol ???? )
I could tell he was comfortable because he didn't cry or flinch or try to escape at all! Her clippers are super quiet so I don't think he even really noticed! BUT let me tell you how proud my son is of his new look and the fact that he finally went to the barber shop, he's telling everyone! Even strangers at the grocery after we left the shop lol
I'm just so grateful for such a wonderful experience and you've definitely gained 2 regulars for life! ????

It took me forever to find a great barber shop. And Legends was right under my nose. Very close to home. Cara does great work and takes pride in making customers look good. Pride in a craft is lost on many, but not the barbers at Legends. I look around while there and feel like any one of them would satisfy. They do great work. But I'll continue to maintain a relationship with Cara, unless I need a cut in her absence. Legends is my new and last barber shop. Thank goodness. Thanks Cara for taking your time and doing a great job. My son and I appreciate your skills.
I have been searching for someone to give me a pixie cut for a few years. I’ve gone to different people who ultimately didn’t do a great job and I left the salons unhappy. I finally decided to give a barbershop a try. My hair is difficult to cut because I have so many cowlicks but this was no big deal for Amber! I sat in her chair, she listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly! I am so pleased and beyond satisfied with her skills! I highly recommend Amber @ Legends. Her skills with a razor are impeccable!
Great atmosphere, EXPERTLY crafted haircut. This isn't Supercuts. Legends is on a completely different level. Can't remember the last time I got my hair cut and felt completely happy about it. They have WON my business and recommendations. Outstanding!!!
This barber shop is new and in the business of making it's customers feel comfortable and welcomed. The shop is diversified with White, Latino, Black and Asian barbers as well as a female stylist. They are familiar with all hair types. They pamper the men but, they service women and children as well. Prices aren't posted yet, but what I paid was competitive.

Person on the phone was polite but couldn’t give a direct answer when asked if barber can accommodate someone who is immunocompromise and wear a mask. (Couldn’t just ask the barbers? isn’t a large store)
Went there and went to ask the barber recommended to me about a mask, also couldn’t answer directly and gave imo a rude and dismissive response saying she didn’t have a mask and when I said oh, I have a fresh one right out of the box in my car; her response was that I could bring it in and have it there, but I will not put it on, instead of directly answering, and gave me a strange look. Disgusting and cowardly.
All they had to say is just no, instead of being disrespectful to someone with health concerns?! so I just walked out and felt the need to leave this review which is something I NEVER DO.
Disgusting. Good to know what type of people work here and others should be warned about how one gets treated if they are Covid conscience/immuno compromised.
I didn't like the end result. Incomplete service. Uncut hair remained in several places. Messy shaved beard. I do not recommend this place if you like a neat haircut and beard with care, where the barber does not ask questions.
